Decent reviews should be objective and all that.

Seeing that the high scores are among the dance / house tracks, and DnB, rock, whatever, gets a bad one, well...

Open up your mind a bit more. Or don't make such a big deal out of it :') Since you're just fueling the mainstream like that bro.

Hi dude.

Maybe your track needs like a re-review or something, because upon 2nd listen it actually wasn't that bad. Maybe I was just in a bad mood.

And that's not true about the dance/house... there's also some classical in there, some ambient, some hip-hop, some jazz, some video game. There's a whole bunch of genres spread throughout, got some trance near the bottom.

It's just that if you look at how many DnB tracks I've listened to, probably about 2?

EDIT: On 2nd thought, I realise I have rated DnB in particular quite low. I will work on normalising these ratings according to taste :)

EDIT2: On 3rd thought, I think I gave you an average-ish rating simply because the song was too short and repetitive I felt like I was just getting a taste sample and then it cut off. I didn't really see the song launch anywhere "outta this world" because I mean I'm really looking for that WOW factor, you know? If you listen to Unfortunate Truth (the #1 song on this list atm), you might know what I mean. Cheers.

Mass reviewing extremely constructive reviews to songs in the new submissions list? Now that's just plain helpful, and really helping the audio community in Newgrounds.

Yea, I come across songs that can get past the new submissions page without getting more than 5 votes. but I think if more people are like this, the audio community here would be less screwed up.
(Well, it's already screwed up, just look at the massive zero bombings hours before wednesday night...)

I really have to hand this to you man, you're doing really great in mass reviewing stuff in the audio portal...

0's are disproportionately strong. By increasing exposure, it allows everyone to be viewed more. We would let other people decide whether the song is good or not.
